Assessment and surgical treatment for lung, pleural, mediastinal, and chest wall conditions, including minimally invasive thoracic surgery where appropriate.

Thoracic surgery may involve investigation, biopsy, resection, or reconstruction depending on the diagnosis. Where appropriate, less invasive approaches are considered as part of treatment planning.

Video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) uses a camera and specialised instruments through small incisions. For selected patients, this may reduce post-operative pain and support earlier recovery compared with more invasive open approaches.
Suitability depends on the diagnosis, imaging findings, lung function, symptoms, and overall medical fitness.

Wound recovery, light activity, and early follow-up depending on the operation performed.
Gradual return to usual activity once healing, pathology review, and recovery progress are confirmed.
Referrers can send the relevant clinical information for review. Patients can contact the rooms once a referral is available to arrange an appointment.
